The Bali International Choral Festival (3- 9 August 2012) is a unique endeavour in international choral life, combining artistic innovation, professional development, and intercultural collaborations in the magic of the tropical island of Bali. Choirs, individual conductors, and individual singers from all over the world are invited to participate.
Participating choirs may give concert performances, participate in Balinese music and dance workshops, collaborate with local and international choirs, and have clinics with distinguished European, Asian, and American clinicians. Individual participants, conductors and singers will participate in symposium sessions focussing on innovative and dynamic creative choral work and professional development. As part of the symposium, all participants will sing Vaughan Williams’ timeless masterpiece Dona Nobis Pacem with a symphony orchestra and Balinese music and dance.
Bali International Choir Festival – 2012 includes two activities;
3 – 6 AUGUST 2012.
BALI SYMPOSIUM ON CHORAL MUSIC & INTERCULTURAL WORKSHOP (BSCM-2012)
